Of all alpha hydroxyl acids, Glycolic Acid, a natural fruit acid derived from sugar cane, has a profound effect on the skin by reversing the abnormal cellular attachments and degenerative changes caused by sun damage and aging. Glycolic Acid has also been shown to produce increased amounts of collagen in the skin.
Regular use of Glycolic Acid products will improve skin color, texture and tone, diminishing acne and the appearance of fine lines. Rx Systems products are formulated to prevent dryness and irritation.

VIVITÉ®
VIVITE is a new, advanced skin care system from Allergan. Only VIVITE contains GLX Technology, an advanced fusion of the clinically demonstrated benefits of glycolic acid and natural antioxidants. The formula matrix which makes up GLX Technology is designed to act as a catalyst for effective penetration of critical ingredients; glycolic compound to exfoliate and sustain moisture release in the skin, as well as topical antioxidants which protect epidermal cells against destructive free radicals.
In addition to GLX Technology, the VIVITE skin care system is also rich in botanicals including olive leaf extract, pomegranate, and green tea for natural antioxidant protection; aloe, chamomile, and wild mango butter for hydration; and licorice to reduce hyperpigmentation.
